Audition Requirements

Auditions will be held on April 9 - either in person (sign up for a time here).  Requirements are listed below. 

1. Be prepared to play 2 to 3 major scales and arpeggios (at least 1 octave). Live auditions only - if you are unable to make the audition date please talk to Mr. Bailey to make other arrangements. 

2. Be prepared to play 2 harmonic minor scale and arpeggio (at least 1 octave). This will be chosen on a random basis. Harmonic Minor Scales will be taken from these harmonic minor scales - c, g, d, a, e, b

3. Play a chromatic scale in quarter notes NO FASTER than mm=80.  This should be from your BEST lowest note to your BEST highest note. 

4. Audition Etude located in the packet.
